My Quiet Chaos

Most days are filled with Legos, violins, cars, math problems about cars, dishes, research on the best educational apps, Playmobil, make believe, laughs, countless books, e-mails, editing, hikes, more dishes, science, more e-mails, fractions, more cars, Photoshop, photo shoots, history and cuddles. Often times, much of this at once. My head, full of a quiet sort of chaos, often feels like exploding. Afternoons like this, when I have a stolen moment of time to work uninterrupted, are both beautifully and eerily quiet…but always embraced with gratitude.
